OZZY OSBOURNE Undergoes Surgery In Denver
July 29, 2007Denver's 9NEWS entertainment reporter Kirk Montgomery has confirmed Ozzy Osbourne had surgery at Rose Medical Center Saturday night (July 28).
The 59-year-old was in town for Ozzfest 2007, which took place at Coors Amphitheatre on Saturday.
Kirk reports that Osbourne was complaining of leg pain for most of the day. After the show, Osbourne was taken to Rose where he underwent surgery on his leg for a blood clot.
Osbourne was expected to be released from the hospital on Sunday. Kirk says wife Sharon was not travelling with him.
Osbourne has released 13 albums during his 20-year career with Epic Records. He won a Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 2000 as a part of BLACK SABBATH for "Iron Man" and received a star on the world-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002. He was inducted as a member of BLACK SABBATH into the U.S. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
